Thai Temple and Thai Training

Our class begins with our visit to an authentic Thai Temple in the San Francisco Bay Area for a wonderful and inspirational cultural experience. The Sunday Thai Brunch is prepared by the community and volunteers over days of work each week, is attended by hundreds each week, and all proceeds go to support the monks and the Temple. We go to pay our respects to the revered tradition we are studying, and we ask for blessings upon our class!

Sometimes we encounter Buddhist holiday celebrations, costumed Thai musicians and dance performers, and Thai fruit & vegetable carving classes, which is a form of meditation and creating beauty for the participants.
